The Recipe:

Mexican Rice

Mexican rice, Spanish rice

 

Ingredients

2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
2 Cup Jasmine rice
1 Tablespoons Complete season
1/4 Cup Dice Sweet onion
Salt to taste
1 sprig of fresh thyme
3 1/2 cup water
Cilantro
1/2 Jalapeño
1 cup tomato (freshly blended) or tomato paste
1 bay leaves
1/2 Teaspoons chili powder

 

Instructions

• In a sauce pot over a low flame add butter, onion and saute for 2-3 minutes until fragrant, add rice mix for 1-2 minutes, then add water, seasoning with cilantro thyme, bay leaves, chili powder jalapeño and tomato paste.

• Mix, cover, and cook for 20-30 minutes or until all the liquids are absorbed into the rice fluff Serve and Enjoy!

Optional

When rice is cooked fluff with more butter.
