Y’all are in for a deal with. I had leftover pineapple easy syrup within the fridge from my Bridgerton social gathering (particularly, my Diamond of the Season Punch) and determined to attempt it with bourbon and voila, a scrumptious Pineapple Julep was born!
It’s no secret that I’m a bourbon girlie. I like a traditional Mint Julep, a Lavender Julep, and now a cheerful Pineapple Julep. That is particularly lovely with some pineapple cubes, pineapple slices, and even some pineapple spears in lieu of mint sprigs for a tropical twist on a entrance porch favourite.
Pineapple Julep
2 oz bourbon
1/2 oz pineapple easy syrup
Finely crushed ice
Mint sprig, recent pineapple cubes for garnish
- Fill mint julep glasses with crushed ice. Pour bourbon and pineapple easy syrup over ice. Garnish with mint sprig and pineapple cubes on a toothpick.
Pineapple Easy Syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 cup cubed pineapple
- Convey sugar and water to a boil in a small sauce pan till sugar is totally dissolved.
- Take away from warmth an pour syrup over pineapple cubes in a heatproof bowl. Cowl and refrigerate for 8 hours or in a single day. Pressure syrup from solids. Hold in a jar within the fridge for a number of weeks.
Completely satisfied sipping,
