   The Recipe:

Brown Stew Pork Ribs

 

 

Ingredients
  • 4 lbs Pork Ribs
  • 2 Teaspoon browning sauce
  • 2 Teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 Teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt or to taste
  • 1 Teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 Tablespoon Complete season
  • 5 Spring fresh thyme
  • 1 Teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2  Sweet onion slice
  • 2 small bell peppers, slice (red or green)
  • 1 scotch bonnet pepper chopped (can remove the seed) optional
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 2 Tablespoon ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoon BBQ sauce
  • 3-4 cup water
  • 3  small carrots chop
  • 3  potatoes chop

 

Instructions

Clean, wash, and season ribs. In a mixing bowl add ribs with browning, garlic powder, bell peppers, onion powder, salt, paprika, fresh thyme, black pepper, onions, red pepper, and scotch bonnet, rubbing seasoning into the ribs. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.

In a large skillet heat oil over medium heat, add 5-6 pieces of ribs do not add the seasoning brown for 2-3 minutes on each side until all ribs are complete set aside.

Then add meat to a pressure cooker with just enough water to cover meat. Let pressure for 30-35 minutes or until tender.

Add vegetables and spices to saucepan over medium heat and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Pour the stew ribs liquid over the seasoning cover and let simmer until carrot and potato are fork tender. Add BBQ sauce, ketchup, and more powder seasoning and salt to taste (if desire).

Lastly, add cook ribs to brown stew sauce and let simmer for 10-15 minutes on medium heat. This will add the final flavor to the ribs stew.

Serve warm and enjoy with rice or your favorite sides.
