What ingredients will I need?
Pizza Crust – I always use Pillsbury for a quick and easy pizza recipe.
Mozzarella – What’s a pizza without cheese? Lol, yes you will need mozzarella for that creamy, cheese pull at the end. Who doesn’t love a good cheese pull when eating a slice of pizza?
Meat – I use boneless skinless chicken thighs. However, you can use chicken breast.
Herbs and Spices – Italian Season, Garlic powder, Oregano, Salt, and Pepper to taste.
Butter – Any butter can be used my preference is unsalted butter.
Sauce – Hoisin, BBQ, and jerk marinate to create the pizza sauce.
Vegetables – Sweet onion, green and yellow bell peppers.
Can I use a sheet pan for this pizza?
Absolutely! A sheet pan or any other pizza pan can be used just flow the same instructions.
Can I add any topping?
Yes, whatever pizza toppings you are graving right now can be added.
How to make Jerk BBQ Chicken Pizza?
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease the skillet with oil or cooking spray of choice. Then add Pillsbury pizza dough to a skillet pan brush with butter sauce and bake for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Remove from oven and spread Jerk BBQ Pizza Sauce evenly onto the dough. Top with mozzarella cheese, onion, bell peppers, and jerk chicken (be generous) add more cheese and chopped cilantro.
Step 3
Add pizza to pre-heat oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.

Jerk BBQ Chicken Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 (12-inch) Pre-baked pizza crust
- 2-3 Skinless boneless chicken thighs – dice
- 1/2 Slice red onion
- 1/2 Green bell peppers
- 1/2 Yellow bell pepper
- Chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 Tablespoon jerk marinade seasoning
- 2 Cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Hot honey to drizzle on top (optional)
- 1 Teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 Teaspoon onion powder
Pizza Butter Sauce
• 2 Tablespoon melted butter
• 1 Teaspoon garlic powder
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 Teaspoon oregano
Jerk BBQ Pizza Sauce
• 1 Tablespoon hoisin sauce
• 3/4 Cup BBQ sauce
• 1 Tablespoon jerk marinade seasoning
Instructions for Jerk Chicken
1• Dice, wash, clean, and season chicken with jerk marinated, garlic and onion powder. Rub chicken thighs to make sure it’s coated well with seasoning allow to marinade for 4-5 hours or overnight longer is better.
2• In a large pan add oil, and heat to medium-high then add chicken thighs to pan-fry for 5-6 minutes. Remove and let sit aside for another minute to cool down.
Instructions for pizza
1• Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease the skillet with oil or cooking spray of choice. Then add Pillsbury pizza dough to a skillet pan brush with butter sauce and bake for 5 minutes.
2• Remove from oven and spread Jerk BBQ Pizza Sauce evenly onto the dough. Top with mozzarella cheese, onion, bell peppers, and jerk chicken (be generous) add more cheese and chopped cilantro
3• Add pizza to pre-heat oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
4• When pizza is finish, remove from the oven and drizzle with Jerk BBQ Pizza Sauce. Slice, Serve and Enjoy.
