Delicious, Crunchy, packed with flavor and your favorite toppings. Loaded Sheet Pan Nachos is a quick and easy not to mention the best appetizer or snack for hosting, friends and family or a game day party.

Nachos are a dish with tortilla chips lots of toppings and cheese. Now, some ingredient are always optional however, with this recipe I suggest you stick to the main ingredients, which is tortilla chips, ground meat of choice and cheese.

Is there a specific way to make nachos? Yes and No! However it’s best when you use a cookie tray/sheet pan to layer tortilla chips as a base then top with your favorite toppings. Bake at 300-400 degree temperature for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted serve with your favorite sides.

What is loaded nachos? Loaded nachos are tortilla chips, ground meat of choice, pico de gallo, olives, jalapeños and cheese with salsa, guacamole, and sour cream on the side.

What toppings do you put on nachos? Toppings for traditional Mexican nachos are pico de gallo, guacamole, red onions, ground meat, corn, shredded lettuce, beans or olives.

 

What ingredients you will need?

Ground Meat – I use ground for a low fat protein meal

Tortilla chips – The main ingredient for this recipe, any chips of choice can be use

Powder Seasoning – Complete season, salt, pepper and taco seasoning

Condiments – Olive and ketchup

Vegetables – Tomato, bell peppers, jalapeño and onion

 

How to make Sheet Pan Loaded Nachos?

Step 1 – In a large skillet heating 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium/high heat. Season your ground turkey with complete season, dice jalapeño, onion, dice tomato, bell peppers, salt and pepper.

Step 2 – Then, add season ground turkey sauté until fully cooked, add water taco seasoning, salt and pepper if needed let simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 3 – Remove and set aside in the same pan melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat, slowly pour in about 2 cups heavy cream, cream cheese, smoke gouda, taco cheese, and mix until thickened to a very creamy consistency.

Step 4 – Remove from the heat stir in spices add complete season, onion powder, truffle oil and mix. Prepare nachos by preheating oven to 400ºF. Then add chips to cover the bottom of the layer of baking sheet and sprinkle on toppings including cheese sauce, ground turkey, slice jalapeño, repeat process until finish then, topped with shredded cheese.

Step 5 – Place sheet pan in the oven at 400ºF for 5-10 minutes or until cheese fully melts.
Serve with your favorite toppings dice avocado and pico de gallo.

Ingredients

• 24oz Ground Turkey
• 1 large bag of corn tortilla chips
• 1 Tablespoon taco season
• 1 Tablespoon complete Season
• 1 Tablespoon ketchup
• 1 Tablespoon olive oil
• 1/4 Cup dice green bell pepper
• 1/4 Cup dice tomato
• 1/4 Cup dice onion
• 2 Dice and slice jalapeño
• Salt & pepper to taste

Cheese sauce

• 1 Cup taco blend cheese
• 1 Cup smoke Gouda
• 2 Cup heavy whipping cream
• 1 Tablespoon cream cheese
• 1 Tablespoon butter
• 1 Teaspoon truffle oil (optional)
• 1 Teaspoon complete seasoning
• 1 Teaspoon onion powder

Toppings (optional)
Dice avocado
Pico de gallo

Instructions

• Season your ground turkey with seasoning listed above
